Jens Bjergmose appointed Managing Director for the TORM Foundation
Jens Bjergmose will from 1 January 2008 be appointed Managing Director for the TORM
Foundation. This appointment is a result of the growth of the Foundation’s considerable
funds and future engagements in projects and donations. Furthermore, the new appointment is a means to secure a strategically focused distribution of the funds in the coming years. The Foundation’s purpose is among others to support TORM employees, employee activities, shipping related institutions and other causes.
The TORM Foundation will have its office on TORM’s premises. Jens Bjergmose has been
with TORM since 1999 and is coming from a position as HR Director in the company. He has a Master’s degree in Science and Economics and has previously worked with HR for both EAC and Carlsberg.
With Jens Bjergmose’s appointment to Managing Director for the TORM Foundation, TORM will employ a new group HR Director.
